Corporate Entrepreneurship Audit

Audit any existing organization's capacity to innovate, and pick a relevant vehicle.

For any existing organization: for-profit, non-profit, government, academic, or religious. The world will never be slower than it is today, and an organization must keep making money now while ensuring it can make money in the future. This audit diagnoses the need, works the four challenges, scores the five problem areas, and selects the implementation vehicle that fits.

  • Warning signs: traditional (revenue growth, margin, cash flow) and non-traditional (eNPS, attrition, share of revenue from new products), each flashing, watch, or healthy.
  • The four challenges: corporate attributes judged asset or hindrance, the specific goal, the five system frictions (inertia, freedom, structure, people, urgency), and the dual operating system with its firewall.
  • The five problem areas scored with the binding area flagged: Plan, Infrastructure, Processes, Agents, Culture. Plus existing-business challenges, opportunities, and triggers.
  • Initiatives classified on the four taxonomies (driver, time, market effect, internal/external), the vehicle spectrum from R&D to M&A, and the organizational buy-in plan.

You provide

  • Organization name, website, and type (pre-filled from web research where found)
  • Internal signals research cannot see: morale, attrition, culture
  • Asset-or-hindrance verdicts and the specific goal
  • Scores for the five system frictions and five problem areas
  • Your innovation initiatives, existing or intended

You receive

  • Corporate Entrepreneurship Audit report: warning signs, the four challenges, problem-area scores, dual-OS and firewall design, taxonomy portfolio, vehicle recommendation, and buy-in plan
